Windsor police are hoping the public can help identify the “person of interest” visible in a security video from a Southwood Lakes home.
According to police, there have recently been several complaints about thefts from vehicles around Southwood Lakes — a residential subdivision in south Windsor.
During the early morning hours of Sept. 15, a surveillance camera that was set up at a residence in the 500 block of Lisa Crescent recorded an individual as he approached an SUV parked in the home’s driveway.
Clad in a hooded sweater, the individual can be seen circling the vehicle and trying its doors — which were fortunately locked.
Police are not referring to the person in the recording as a suspect, but ask anyone with information about him or her to contact investigators with the Target Base Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350.
Anonymous tips can be submitted via Crime Stoppers, 519-258-08477 or www.catchcrooks.com.
