Windsor police seek suspects in armed convenience store robbery

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Windsor convenience store at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

Windsor police said two suspects entered the Mac’s Convenience in the 2600 block of Lauzon Road around 3:20 a.m.

One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other was carrying a long gun.

Police said the suspects demanded cash and cigarettes and fled the store.

Both had their identities concealed by clothing.

The first suspect is described as a white man with a thin build. He is about six-foot two-inches tall and was wearing a black toque, black jacket with a blue hooded sweater underneath. He was also wearing blue jeans, black shoes and had a red bandana covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a white man with a thin build. He is about five-foot two-inches tall and was wearing a black toque, black coat with a black hooded sweater underneath. He was also wearing Burgundy pants and had a red bandana covering his face.
