A trio of Windsor males are facing drug charges after police stopped a vehicle and found crystal meth on all three suspects.

The drugs and guns unit (DIGS) has been conducting a drug investigation on a residence in the 3200 block of Turner Road.

On Wednesday night, around 7:30 p.m., a male associated with the address was seen in a vehicle with two other occupants in the 200 block of Elm Street.

Members of the tactical team stopped the vehicle and arrested the three people inside.

A search of the 33-year-old man associated with the Turner Road address uncovered 6.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 1.8 grams of cocaine, and $440 in cash. Police also seized his phone.

Another occupant of the vehicle, a 32-year-old male, was found to be carrying 3.4 grams of crystal meth.

The third occupant — a 26-year-old male at the steering wheel — had about 0.3 grams of crystal meth. Police also learned that he had been disqualified from driving.

Officers then raided the residence on Turner Road, finding two digital scales.

Michael Allard, 33, of Windsor, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, and two counts of breaching recognizance.

Joseph Trupp, 32, of Windsor, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Christopher Vanhumbeck, 26, faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine, as well as driving while disqualified.

Anyone with information about drug crimes is asked to call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4361. Anonymous tips can be given via Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 or catchcrooks.com.
