Windsor police are looking for a male who threatened an employee with a knife during the robbery of an east end pharmacy early Monday.
Police were called around 3:15 a.m. to the 11500 block of Tecumseh Rd. E. — the plaza at the intersection with Banwell Road.
Officers learned that a robber had entered a business at the location, brandished a knife, and forced an employee into a back room.
The criminal demanded money. He fled with a quantity of cash.
Although no one was hurt, police said the knife-wielding robber “used violence” in his dealings with the employee.
A security camera recorded the suspect.
He’s described as a short white male, perhaps five-foot-four, with a medium build. He appeared to be in the range of 25 to 35 years old. He was wearing glasses.
At the time of the crime, the suspect was clad in a light-coloured hooded sweater under a dark, waist-length coat. He had dark pants and dark boots.’
