A 73-year-old Windsor man is facing multiple sexual assault charges in relation to incidents that allegedly occurred more than 30 years ago — and Toronto police say there may be more victims.

Earl Ray Stevens of Windsor was arrested by Toronto police on Aug. 14.

The allegations involve offences that took place between 1984 and 1987 at Toronto’s Denison Armoury in the area of Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue.

The armoury has since relocated. The original building was demolished in 2003.

Toronto police described the victim as a boy at the time of the crimes.

Stevens has been charged with six counts of sexual assault.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 19 in Toronto.

Police said investigators are “concerned there may be other victims.”

Police describe Stevens as a white male, about five-foot-six in height, with a thin build and blue eyes.

Anyone with further information about the accused is encouraged to call Toronto police at 416-808-3100.

Anonymous tips can be made via Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 or www.222tips.com.

Toronto police remind the public that sexual assault, according to the Criminal Code of Canada, consists of any form of unwanted sexual conduct. The offence includes — but is not limited to — kissing, groping, oral sex, and penetration.
