Authorities are looking for a federal offender who has been known to frequent Windsor, among other Ontario communities.
William Gies, 42, is being sought by the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
According to the police, Gies has breached his long-term supervision order.
Gies was in the midst of serving a 15-month sentence for assault causing bodily harm and failure to comply with probation orders.
He has spent time in the areas of Barrie, Wasaga Beach and Windsor.
He’s described as a white male about five-foot-seven in height and 209 pounds in weight. He has black hair and blue eyes.
