A 27-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges after she was found behind the wheel of a minivan that collided with a house in Essex late at night.
Essex County OPP were called on Jan. 10 around 11:30 p.m. to a residence in the 200 block of Brien Avenue in Essex.
Officers arrived to find that a blue minivan had left the roadway and struck the home.
The vehicle had a lone female driver. According to OPP, she showed signs of impairment.
No other vehicle was involved in the collision.
Olivia Tremblay, 27, of Essex, was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with blood alcohol exceeding 80 milligrams per 100 millilitres.
She’s scheduled to appear in a Windsor courtroom on Feb. 8.
