Windsor police are looking for a man in a purple touque after a gas station on Walker Road was robbed at knifepoint during the early morning hours of Jan. 14.
The crime happened shortly before 2:20 a.m. in the 2300 block of Walker Road.
The robbery suspect entered the station’s store with his purple touque pulled down to conceal his face.
He brandished a knife and demanded money.
After taking a quantity of cash, the robber fled on foot and was last seen running north east.
Officers also learned that a newer model white Dodge Ram pickup truck had been seen in the area moving in a suspicious manner, just before the robbery occurred.
The suspect is described as a white male, perhaps 18 to 25 years old, about five-foot-seven in height and 150 pounds in weight. He has short brown hair. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a dark jacket, dark winter pants, and rubber winter boots.
