Windsor police issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for a suspect in the stabbing of a man in Walkerville shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Joshua Drouillard, 22, of Windsor, is wanted on charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
Police said officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Wyandotte Street East at approximately 12:40 a.m. on January 21 following a report of a man being stabbed.
Investigation revealed that two men had been involved in an argument in the area of Wyandotte and Parent Avenue, with one of the parties allegedly stabbing the other.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries described as “non-life-threatening.”
Police the victim and his assailant didn’t know each other.
Officers reviewed video surveillance in the area and were able to identify a suspect.
