Windsor police are investigating but some people just aren’t talking about what happened in the west end on Saturday afternoon that left a male with head and facial injuries.
According to police, officers have met with “varying degrees of cooperation” regarding who was involved in an altercation at a residence in the 3300 block of Bloomfield Road around 1:40 p.m.
Initial reports indicated multiple combatants and the involvement of weapons — potentially a firearm.
The nature of the call led responding officers to draw their service weapons and surround the address.
One adult male was found in the backyard of the home. The man told police he was the one who called 911, and that those involved had left on foot.

Windsor police examine a man who said he was the victim of a confrontation in a home in the 3300 block of Bloomfield Road on May 5, 2018.
Another individual — a 20-year-old male — was found walking along the train tracks at College Avenue.
This man had fresh injuries on his head and face. He told police he was the victim of a confrontation inside the residence in question.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police believe those involved in the incident all know each other.
No firearm has been recovered, and investigators have not been able to confirm if one was actually involved.
Some people at the scene told police that three adult males left the residence before officers arrived.
Accounts of those three individuals have not been detailed: They have only been described as short (perhaps five-foot-five) and skinny.
