A Winchester rifle, a Taser, and hydromorphone pills were seized by Windsor police as a result of a raid at a residence on Janette Avenue earlier this week.
Two people — a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman — were arrested and now face charges.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a third suspect: a 30-year-old man.
The Windsor police Drugs and Guns Unit obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 1300 block of Janette Avenue on Tuesday, when a man and woman associated with the address were spotted in a black Dodge Dakota pickup truck a short distance away around 3:15 p.m.
Members of the tactical team stopped the truck and arrested both occupants.
A search of the suspects and residence resulted in the discovery of the Winchester rifle, ammunition, the Taser device, four hydromorphone pills and a digital scale.
The drugs were found on the female.
Rainbow Mackay, 26, of Windsor, has been charged with possession of a firearm without a licence and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Kristopher Pillon, 32, of Windsor, has been charged with possession of a firearm without a licence and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle.
A third suspect — 30-year-old Christopher Royal of Windsor — is now wanted on charges of possession of a firearm without a licence and possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon. Other firearm-related charges are pending.
