Windsor police are looking for a sex assailant who pulled down the shorts of an 18-year-old female as she walked past him near the University of Windsor campus.
The incident happened on Wednesday around 11:10 p.m. in the 600 block of Rankin Avenue. The female was a pedestrian on the sidewalk and went by a man she didn’t know.
When the assailant pulled down the girl’s shorts, she screamed — causing him to flee on foot in an easterly direction, through residential properties.
The victim wasn’t hurt.
She described her assailant as a white male who looked in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about five-foot-seven in height and has a slender build.
At the time of the crime, the man was wearing a dark baseball cap with a flat brim, a black T-shirt, and black, baggy pants.
