A man accused of multiple Windsor-Essex pharmacy robberies is the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
Dustin Ross Robinson, 34, is now wanted across the country, according to Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Alberta.
Robinson is the suspect in at least a dozen robbery incidents across southern Alberta and southern Ontario — including five in Windsor and four in Lakeshore.
As a result of a joint investigation involving several police agencies, Robinson was arrested in Calgary in April.
He was in the custody of Calgary Police Service for a period of time, but was granted bail in July.
One of Robinson’s conditions was that he remain in Calgary.
The arrest warrant was issued after Robinson failed to appear in court.
According to Alberta RCMP, Robinson was last seen in downtown Calgary. Investigators believe he may have travelled east from Alberta — and could potentially have returned to his hometown of Sarnia.
Robinson is described as a white male, six feet in height, about 180 pounds in weight, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
Anyone with information about Robinson’s whereabouts is encouraged to call RCMP at 1-844-887-6287.
Anonymous tips can be made via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The Windsor-Essex robbery incidents tied to Robinson took place during the latter half of 2016 into the beginning of 2017. Some of the cases involved a single pharmacy being targeted multiple times. In each incident, a male with a covered face brandished a knife and demanded narcotics.
