An investigation by the Windsor police internet child exploitation unit has resulted in multiple charges against a local man.
Around 11 a.m. Thursday, officers with the unit executed a search warrant on a Windsor residence, seizing a computer and data storage devices.
Police said child pornography was found in the seized items.
An adult male suspect was identified. The officers located and arrested him around 1:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of Wyandotte Street East.
Steven Brydges, 56, of Windsor, has been charged with two counts of possessing child pornography, one count of accessing child pornography, and one count of making available child pornography.
According to police, the investigation began in January.
Police said they do not believe any local children were involved in the alleged offences.
