Trio of teens with knives robbed Remington Park variety store, say Windsor police

Windsor police say three males who robbed a store in the Remington Park area last weekend all carried kitchen knives and looked like they were 16 to 18 years old.

The crime happened on March 1 shortly before 10 p.m. at a business in the 2600 block of Parent Avenue, north of the neighbourhoods of Remington Park.

Police responded to learn that three males — all equipped with black ski masks, black gloves, and “kitchen-type” knives — had entered and robbed the variety store.

They took cigarettes and a quantity of cash before fleeing on foot. They were last seen running north on Parent Avenue.

No one was hurt.

Forensics officers attended the crime scene.

Along with their masks and gloves, all three suspects wore dark winter coats and dark pants.

One white male had a slim build and looked about six feet tall.

Another white male had a medium build and looked about five-foot-nine.

The third male had a medium complexion, a medium build, and looked about five-foot-six.
