A woman was arrested after a reported stabbing in Kingsville early Friday morning.
OPP responded around 4 a.m. to a location on Beech Street where a man had suffered a cut to his hand.
The man’s alleged assailant, a 32-year-old female, was still at the scene when police arrived.
The laceration was bad enough that the victim needed to be hospitalized for treatment.
Officers arrested and searched the woman, discovering more than 30 grams of methamphetamine on her person.
Nicole Arner, 32, of Kingsville, faces charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused is expected to appear in court in Windsor on April 29.
