Tecumseh OPP are asking the public for information about a man in a white van who approached a youth over the weekend.
The incident happened in the area of Brighton Road and Tecumseh Road East around 5 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, the male youth was on his bicycle when he was approached by the man in the van.
Investigators would like to speak the driver and are hoping the public can help identify him.
The man is described as being of East Indian descent. He spoke with an accent.
He’s about 5’9″ tall with a medium build, round face, and light brown skin.
At the time of the incident, his hair was in a boxy crew cut, with shaved sides and a squared-off top.
He was wearing a dark T-shirt and possibly blue jogging pants.
The van is described as a white full-sized GMC, with side doors and windows all around.
The vehicle had no markings. Its interior may be equipped with a tool rack.
